President Donald J. Trump issued a new set of guidelines Monday afternoon aimed at containing and mitigating the growing spread of the novel coronavirus across the country.

In a Monday afternoon Coronavirus Task Force press briefing at the White House, the President urged Americans to stay home, urging against eating out or holding gatherings of more than 10 people.

Additionally, the list encourages governors to shut down schools in heavily-affected areas.

So far, the United States has seen nearly 4,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus, and many states and regions have already been enacting temporary shut-downs and school closures.
