Tom Del Beccaro says California is on the cusp of recalling Gavin Newsom.
“This is breathing life into those who want resistance to big government and those who want accountability,” Del Beccaro, the former chairman of the Republican Party in California told War Room on Monday.
Del Beccaro’s group Rescue California has already gathered 1.6 million signatures, which is above the necessary 1.495 in order for the recall to appear on the ballot. However, Rescue California is collecting 2 million signatures to beat back any “funny business” in the deep blue state.
“California is in play,” said Stephen K. Bannon. “I never thought I’d say those words.”
Del Beccaro said after dealing with the energy crisis, homelessness, and job flight, the Wuhan virus shut downs were the last straw. “People are just fed up here,” he said.
The growing recall Newsom movement is just the latest beat down for the left in California. Voters have already defeated Newsom’s efforts for property tax hikes, cashless bail, and unionizing Uber and Lyft.
“That was their wake up call in early November,” said Del Beccaro. “It was just after that we launched Rescue California and we have been going gangbusters ever since.”
